All About Skin
It’s literally gone from fall to winter in 24 hours. I don’t know if you’re like me, but in the winter I like to take EXTRA good care of my skin and be sure that it stays healthy and hydrated. I have just the items that you need and the best news is, I use every one of these and swear by each of them.
1…Baby Lips by Maybelline. I saw this in probably 902590825 magazines before I decided to try it out. Baby Lips? Kind of a weird name to me, but it works great. There are multiple colors and flavors, but I like the clear mint one the best.
2…Jergens Crema in Hydrating Coconut Milk. I use this stuff especially on my hands and feet so they will stay hydrated and not crack. TMI? maybe.
3…Carmex. Seriously I love this stuff. Might be addicted. It is wonderful for those cold winter days when you’re walking to class sprinting into the mall from your car.
4…OPI Avoplex Cuticle Oil. This stuff smells amazing and keeps your cuticles healthy and looking great. It also comes in a to-go size that is perfect for your purse.
5…Jergens Original Scent. This is a tradition from my grandma, mom, aunt, etc. I use this 24/7 when I just need some good moisture. And the cherry almond smell is just a bonus!
6…Clinique 3-Step. I have used this since I was 15. I LOVE it. Start with this on your face twice a day and add necessary moisturizers on top of it. If you use it correctly, your skin will look great and never break out. I use system #2 for dry combination skin.
7…Tarte 100% pure Maracuja Oil. Newest member of my skincare team and it’s AMAZING. This stuff is like heaven in a bottle. 3 drops at bedtime is all you need to look refreshed and healthy for 24 hours. It actually makes me look younger, which at my age may not always be desired.
8…Clinique Moisture Surge Extended Thirst Relief. I only use this in the winter when my skin becomes extra dry. Just put a dime-sized amount on after the 3-step and you’re good to go.
9…Garnier Moisture Rescue Gel Cream. Garnier? Don’t they make hair products? My thoughts exactly. Again like the Baby Lips I saw this in multiple magazines, and though ok I’ll try it. For under $10 this stuff really works well. And the best part? It won’t break the bank. You could use it instead of the Clinique Moisture Surge Extended Thirst Relief. They both pretty much do the same thing, but I wanted to give you some choices.
Hope this winter doesn’t treat your skin too badly. Take care of your skin in the winter and you’ll be very proud of yourself come spring & summer :)
