Dream Day Style Challenge

Recently I was contacted by Loverly to share my dream wedding day style. Sure, I may be single but every girl has thought about her perfect wedding day. Just because I haven’t found the right guy doesn’t mean that it’s not fun to plan & style for my dream day :)

When I think of my ideal wedding style I think of these words:

-elegant-

Loverly has so graciously provided me with a theme I’m in love with: City Glam.

Here’s what I’m thinking: lots of white/off white flowers, LOTS OF GOLD with hints of a dusty rose color. I would like champagne shimmer in the form of decorations to make my guests smile. A sunset, a rooftop in the fall (perhaps in my favorite city ever–Dallas), and my closest friends & family by my side.

I also know there are things that I would like to have regarding my dress: one shoulder, white, and tulle. And since this is my dream, we are going to pretend that money is no object here. So I sat out on a mission to find my perfect (dream) wedding dress. Here’s what I came up with:

It’s no surprise that I would be drawn to Monique Lhuillier dresses. I saw some pictures from her #mbfw show in NYC & I was in awe. Now, I’m not going to pretend I know all there is to know about couture, but it’s kind of one of those things…when you know you know. I have been having a lot of these moments lately!
