Hey everyone! I hope you have some amazing plans for the weekend. I am currently holed up at my school studying…doesn’t that sound like fun? I feel like I have missed out on so much as I was out of the country for SO long. BUT I did want to share a fun post on the 2015 Color of the Year: Marsala.
I am LOVING Pantone’s choice this year. I’m thankful that it’s a color that looks good on so many people. I’m obsessed with warm, rich colors like this. AND can I please just say I am thankful that I can wear this color in the spring/summer this year as well?
One of my favorite ways to explore the color of the year is by looking through Sephora’s Pantone collection. Sometimes I’m not totally sure what the exact color is, so Sephora to the rescue! Most of the current products are sold out, however, you can still visit the site to get ideas on this color & what it looks like.
So, once you have figured out just exactly what Marsala looks like, the next question is: how do I wear it?
I think a Marsala nail polish choice is a good way to dive right in without a huge commitment. You know what I mean! Also, a blush & a lip creme round out my top 3 picks. Believe it or not, it was pretty hard to find products that I thought defined this color of the year. Here’s what I came up with…
