How To Choose a Card for an Event

Hey y’all! I hope you had a great weekend. I am super excited to share a post with you that I’ve been working on with Basic Invite. It’s a new year, and that means a new graduating class. As many of you know, I graduated from pharmacy school last May. It was a super exciting time in my life. I think it’s important to share these memories and celebrations with those we love, so that’s where Basic Invite comes in. Today I want to share my process of how I choose a card for an event.

{ONE} Write down major details

{TWO} Figure out who your audience is

{THREE} Decide on a color scheme

{FOUR} Decide on a theme (bold? clean? shiny?)

{FIVE} Narrow your search

{SIX} Customize your heart out

I wanted to show you a card that I customized and tell you how easy it was! I promise, anyone can do this, because Basic Invite has made the process easy and effortless ;)

How adorable is this card? Graduation is all about you! You have worked so hard to achieve your goals, so have fun with your card. The card I chose was super girly and fun. I love the confetti polka dots on the front. In keeping with that theme, I chose to have pink polka dots on the back of my invitation. Also (not shown), I put my monogram inside the flap of the envelope for another added touch. I love that Basic Invite is all about personalization. They don’t make you use their pre-made color schemes, you can ALWAYS personalize to your taste.

There are so many different card companies on the Internet, and I will be honest…it can be hard to choose one. Thankfully, I’ll tell you a couple of reasons that Basic Invite is different:

{Almost Unlimited Colors} Basic Invite is one of the few websites that allows you almost unlimited color options with instant previews online. Once you select a design you can change the color of each element on the card to over 180 different color options so you can make sure the card is exactly how you want it down to the littlest detail. This is what I feel sets Basic Invite apart from the crowd.

{Custom Samples} Basic Invite is one of the few websites that allows you the ability to order a printed sample of the actual invitation so you can see exactly how it will print, as well as the paper quality before you ever have to place your final order.

{Over 40 Different Envelope Colors} Basic Invite is just as colorful with their envelopes as invitations. You can choose from over 40 different colors when it comes to the envelopes so that you can make your invitation stand out even before it is opened. All of their envelopes are peel and seal so the envelopes can be quickly and securely closed.

Basic Invite is even around to help with your “thank you” list after the graduation festivities are over. Sending a personalized thank you card is one way to show others that you care and are happy that they got to share this exciting time in your life.

(Again, you know me with the gold ;))

If graduation is coming up for your or someone in your family, be sure to checkout customizable graduation announcements. Basic Invite is anything but basic!

PS: The design I chose was the “confetti celebration” card. Again, you can customize to any color scheme you would like. For me, it’s all about the pink, white, and gold. Let me know in the comments what your favorite color scheme is.

XO,

Rebekah
