How To Ensure You Have a Good Day with Landau

Happy Wednesday y’all! I hope everyone is having a good week. I’ve really been trying not to arrive at work so sleepy. It can be hard, because I am only home for around 12 hours each day. I have LONG work days as a pharmacist, so I wanted to share five ways that can help you ensure you have a good day.

ONE. Dress comfortably.

Nothing can ruin a day more than being uncomfortable in your outfit. For me, I have had several different rotations and jobs with different dress codes. While it may not work for everyone, I wanted to share my experience with my favorite scrub company, Landau. These scrubs are super comfy, come in lots of colors/styles, and wash so easily. My friends at Landau were kind enough to send me a pair in my favorite color, hot pink! I threw on my white coat as well. #ScrubLove

TWO. Wear appropriate shoes.

Hands down the most important thing I can tell you about working on your feet all day is to wear shoes that are supportive. Luckily, I can wear tennis shoes to work! Even if you can’t wear tennis shoes, try to stay away from high heels with little support.

THREE. Accessorize simply.

I’m the girl that would wear super long, dangling earrings if I could but that doesn’t make sense in my job. I am constantly on the phone talking, so I had to find a pair of studs that are small enough not to hurt while I’m talking all the time. This Kendra Scott pair is my favorite.

FOUR. Wake up with green tea.

I LOVE to have a cup of hot green tea first thing in the morning. It really helps wake me up and get going for the day. Throw it in a stainless steel mug to keep it warm all morning while you get ready ;)

FIVE. Light a candle.

I’m on such a rose kick lately. This scrub color reminds me of a bright pink rose, which is so fitting. I have been lighting my rose candle in the mornings while I check emails, my blog, and social media before heading to the pharmacy.

There you have it. These are my five things I do each morning to ensure I have a good day. Is there something you do that I should add to my routine? Comment below!

  1. What a comfy looking work outfit! I love the hot pink and the earrings are so pretty. They work perfectly with your outfit.

  2. These are great ideas for having a great day. Isn’t it funny how just having a comfy outfit and the sweet smell of candles around can make all the difference? Thanks for sharing.

  3. I definitely grew with you you need something comfortable is the best way to have a good day. I am always looking for clues to keep me comfortable but also look fashionable.

  4. It’s definitely a must to be dressed comfortably. I hate having to go somewhere and just not feeling right in my outfit. Earrings and Mascara are my go to for a smile on my face and to make myself look awake lol.

  5. These are great ways to start a day out on the right foot! Honestly, I sit around in my pj’s the majority of the time. We homeschool, and I work from home, so no need to change! ;-)

  6. Nothing like a pop of RED lipstick to put a smile on my face even on a melancholy day.

  7. Yes! I know I’m having a good day when I’m comfortable. I’m all about the comfort. I haven’t had green tea though! I should try that out.

  8. I see more and more people wearing scrubs for different jobs other than hospitals and care facilities. Good information for those that need to wear and find great scrubs to wear.

  9. Whilst my days are not that long {9-5} I certainly know that wearing comfortable clothing and shoes is a must. Loving the studs too, really pretty

  10. I need to get up even earlier to have a restful morning. It’s go, go, go getting my son ready for school and driving him to the school bus. I do have about a 20 minute walk each morning after dropping him to catch the Metro for work. That’s my little 20 minutes of serenity.

  11. I wish I read this earlier in the day! Maybe my day would have gone a little better :) I say a little prayer to start my day.

  12. Thanks for sharing part of your day. My day starts an hour or two earlier than every one else in this house. That gives me some quiet time to sip my coffee slowly, read the papers or watch the news (only the weather report), and have another cup of coffee before I hear a “thump, thump, thump” going down the steps. :)

  13. Your morning sounds similar to mine. I always try to take some time and plan out my day. I also almost always enjoy a cup of tea or coffee!

  14. Shoes!!! I totally agree. I hate uncomfortable shoes and I always regret it if I try to wear something I know it’s my favorite, but that maybe this time they’ll fit better than I remember…

  15. Just like anything if you throw a little positivity in there, it definitely helps. For me I need to feel dressed to get into work mode & that means hair & makeup done…mostly mascara so I have some eyes! :)

  16. This is going to help so many people. I like to make my bed first thing. That is one thing done as soon as I am up!

  17. Dressing comfortable is so important! I hate it when my outfit is bothering me – it distracts me from work!

  18. These are such simple things that make such a positive impact. I have found that waking up before my kids, enjoying a cup of coffee, and getting a bit of work done while I’m still in my pajamas helps me have a great morning.
