Travel Tuesday: Four Seasons St. Louis

Welcome back to this week’s edition of Travel Tuesday! I am so excited to finally share my hotel review of the Four Seasons St. Louis. I was blessed to be able to spend the Labor Day Weekend at this beautiful hotel. As many of you know, I’m a pharmacist by day. Can we say exhausting? I knew I needed to relax, and the Four Seasons St. Louis had me covered.

If you visit the Four Seasons St. Louis website, you’ll see that they have coined the term “urban oasis” to describe this hotel. Let me just say…WOW. I have never heard a hotel described as accurately as this. From the outdoor space to the incredible views of the Arch to the downtown location, you will find yourself right at home in this urban oasis.

Since this trip was strictly about relaxation, I want to share five ways to relax at the Four Seasons St. Louis:

{ONE}: Take a bath in the DEEP tub

Y’ALL. These tubs are the deepest, most relaxing bathtubs I’ve ever experienced in my life. We are talking relaxation to the highest degree. Thank goodness I brought along my favorite bubble bath. I am obsessed with taking baths. It’s so relaxing to me, and I really like to wind down after a long day. If you’re like me and often choose a hotel based on the bathtub, then the Four Seasons St. Louis is for you!

{TWO}: Get a massage in the spa

I live for a good massage. I LOVE that the Four Seasons St. Louis brings together incredibly talented masseuses and soft, muted colors for a truly relaxing environment. This full service spa is perfect for a girls getaway weekend!

{THREE}: Get a blowout in the salon

My hair & I were super thankful for the amazing blowout I got to have with Michelle. She was super professional the entire time, all while being very friendly and welcoming. We talked about the best spots to visit in St. Louis and she helped me create a list for next time I’m in town ;) AND if the Four Seasons spa isn’t mirror goals, I don’t know what is! (see below)

{FOUR}: Lay out by the pool

The pool deck was the place to be. It ended up being around 90 this weekend, so laying out was definitely in order. My favorite thing about the pool area? Those cabanas. How adorable?! Also I wanted to point out that the Four Seasons St. Louis has thought of everything! Next to the table where you check in to the pool, you will find sunscreen, magazines, and fruit water to make sure all the bases are covered. I have forgotten sunscreen so many times, so this was a welcome thought by the staff.

{FIVE}: Grab a chick flick or two & watch them in your room

I’m the girl who’s up for shopping and going out on the town on the daily, but I’m also the girl who knows how important relaxation can be. I’m turning 30 this year, so I’ve really been realizing how much I need to slowwww down. Some of my favorite chick flicks include The Holiday, How To Lose a Guy in 10 Days, The Proposal, and No Strings Attached. Trust me, you can’t go wrong with any of those.

Overall, I was blown out of the water by the service and kindness I received from the staff at the Four Seasons St. Louis. They were the most accommodating hotel staff I have ever stayed with. From the moment I checked in, I knew that I was going to be treated professionally and with so much respect. The welcome gift was super thoughtful!

Amenities abound at the Four Seasons St. Louis. The full service restaurant, Cielo, serves a yummy breakfast! I chose the Cielo omelet and I was beyond pleased. My server was so kind to go over menu highlights with me, and I was so thankful! There’s nothing like enjoying breakfast with a view of the Arch!

Be sure to check with the staff to see if there are any cool events going on around the hotel. I got super lucky, because there was an amazing fireworks show that I watched from the pool deck!

And for all of my bloggy BFF’s out there, the amount of perfect selfie locations in the Four Seasons St. Louis is undeniable.
