Happy Tuesday! Can we all agree that we are excited that fall is finally here? It’s rainy outside today and the temp is supposed to drop 20 degrees. Bring on all the scarves and booties ;) One thing that I look forward to every single fall is FOOTBALL! If you follow me on social media, you know that I’m a die-hard football fan. I live for this sport y’all! I decided I would put together a fun party idea centering around Tony’s Pizza. If you head to your local Harps food store, run straight to the pizza aisle to grab a Tony’s® Pizzeria Style Pizza of your choice.

One of my claims to fame (lol) is the fact that I had a very unique high school mascot. I was a Harrison Goblin from kindergarten through high school graduation. You read that right…a GOBLIN. For those who didn’t go to my school, you might not think it’s that cool. However, I enjoyed having a unique mascot that no one else had. It also made Halloween games extra fun ;) Today I wanted to share how I chose to throw a pre-game pizza party with Tony’s.

Before we get started, I wanted to give you a chance to win with the Tony’s Sweepstakes:

When I think pizza, I think salad. To me, these two go together like salt & pepper. I’m somewhat of a cheese pizza snob, because I have one major requirement: 100% real cheese. Thankfully, Tony’s has come through for me with 100% real mozzarella cheese. YUM! And let’s talk about crust…I love the authentic pizzeria recipe from Tony’s! It’s not too thick but not too thin. #WinWithTonysPizza

Back to the salad, I LOVE caesar salad. I honestly think I could eat it daily for a month and never get tired of it. In my opinion, the key to not getting tired of salad is fun, exciting toppings. I decided to pair my yummy Tony’s pizza with a caesar salad bar.

Step 1: Wash & chop a head of romaine lettuce. Cut up into salad-size pieces. Place in a bowl with a paper towel to drain.

Step 2: Cut cashews into small pieces and place in a bowl.

Step 3: Empty a small bag of sunflower seeds into a bowl.

Step 4: Wash & peel 3 large carrots. Shred into pieces & place into a bowl.

Step 5: Empty contents of a bottle of caesar dressing into a bowl.

Step 6: Shred a block of parmesan & place into a bowl.

Step 7: Empty contents of a bag of croutons into a bowl.

Step 8: Add spoons to all bowls.

Step 9: Place the topping bowls around the large lettuce bowl.

For toppings, I had several options: cashews, parmesan cheese, sunflower seeds, carrots, croutons, and dressing. I really like to add a crunch to my salad, so that’s why I chose a variety of toppings. I like putting them in individual bowls so that everyone can choose how to top their salad. I really like the variety of toppings as well, because this works for both adults and children.

This salad paired perfectly with the Tony’s® Pizzeria Style Cheese Pizza! I know this meal will be the perfect pre-game dinner that will feed a crowd. Be sure to have a big jug of iced tea around, too.

So this fall when you’re looking to feed the pre-game crowds in your hometown, be sure to grab Tony’s pizzas for an affordable, go-to gameday treat!

(PS: To make the “football field” on your table, grab a green plastic tablecloth & tape off “yard lines” with white masking tape)

I hope you enjoy football season as much as I do! Have a great week.

Rebekah

  1. When I think pizza, I also think of Salad for a side. Caesar salad is my favorite, so this is completely right up my alley! #client

  2. It’s been a long time since I had a cook-at-home pizza, and I think I remember liking Tony’s… Now I’m craving it and I’m going to have to go pick up some, thanks for that. Hahah! But seriously, good and easy is like my life lately. <3

    1. GIRL! Fall weather makes me crave pizza. I think I’m going to have this for dinner now ;)

  3. Pre-football wouldn’t be the same without Pizza! I’ve never had Tony’s, but as an avid pizza lover, it would be wrong to not try this out lol! Thanks for sharing :)

  4. I haven’t had this kind of pizza in a long time. My husband and I used to make it when we were dating. You have a tasty spread there.

  5. I used to love Tony’s and Digiorno pizza growing up. This post was kind of nostalgic for me because I haven’t had either in a very long time. Thanks for sharing!

  6. I don’t think I have ever tried Tony’s pizza before. Your set up looks amazing and festive, I like the balloons and the football plates. Making pizza or even ordering it when you’re hosting a big party really takes the stress off having food ready and catering to allergies and dietary needs is much easier.

  7. Now that is a party! I haven’t heard of this brand of pizza but it looks SO good! I’ll do anything to make get togethers and parties easier, especially on a game day like this! Loving your set up and how delicious that looks. I could really go for a slice right about now! Yum!

  8. I actually haven’t tried Tony’s pizzas before but it looks good! When my ex and I were still living together, I usually have to serve these things and I hope you had this post sooner haha. I love the way you set things up.
