It’s finally Friday! Happy weekend to everyone. It’s been a crazy week in the pharmacy, so I’m excited to relax and unwind this weekend. I have so much laundry/cleaning/organization to do, too! Can someone explain this weather? Last weekend it was 30 and this weekend it’s near 80?! That’s Arkansas weather for you! I thought I would share another life edit today and share what I’ve been up to, what to shop, etc this weekend. Be sure to scroll down of some outfit inspiration by the way of the cardigan.

Where I’m Going: Next week I’m headed to Dallas again. My BFF Ricci & I are going to the Texas Tech (Hello Kliff Kingsbury) game at AT&T Stadium. We will of course have to hit up our usual Dallas spots and do some shopping at Northpark. There will be blowouts and there will be mani/pedis!

What I’m Watching: I’m sad that the Real Housewives of Dallas just ended, but I can’t wait for the reunion. DRAMA CITY! Obviously I’m a Bravo snob, but I’ve been watching Below Deck too. I can’t imagine being holed up on a yacht in tiny little quarters for weeks! Could y’all ever do that?!

Happy Sunday. I’m writing this post as I’m watching my beloved Dallas Cowboys play football. I love this season, because it means FOOTBALL. It also means cold weather. This can make road trips quite different when traveling in the winter. Here are my tips for bringing along the essentials for a winter road trip:

*THINK WARM: Now is not the time to be cute. Trust me, I like to dress up and look cute when I’m going out, but here you need to think smart. Be sure to have a warm pair of gloves & socks in your car. The thicker, the better. Also, grab an extra blanket and load it up in your car.

*THINK RAIN/SNOW: This won’t apply to all locations, but you need to prepare for cold rain/snow in some cases. Pack an umbrella, ice scraper, and a shovel in your car.

*THINK DARKNESS: In the case of bad roads or a breakdown, you may have to wait for help for a while. Be sure to pack a flashlight and an extra battery for your phone. AND don’t forget the phone cords!

*THINK SAFETY: A first aid kit is a must-have in any car. Be sure to change it out each year to be sure the contents are within date. Also, a swiss army knife is always good to have in your car.

Happy Thursday! The weekend is only a couple of days away…thank goodness! I don’t know if you’ve been paying attention to trends lately but RED is everywhere. We are talking shoes, outfits, accessories, etc. It’s starting to feel like winter outside (which I love), so I thought “Red Hot Winter” had a catchy ring to it ;) Today I will help you out with sixteen items to give your closet a head start on the red trend!

This bag (#16) is only $48! WHAT a steal. I already ordered it, and I think it’s perfect for holiday parties.

Several of my friends have these flats (#9). I had been waiting for a fun color to come out, so I think I need to grab these. They are way under $100 which is a good price. I love the bow detail.

If you’ve been following me on Instagram, you know I’m obsessed with bell sleeves. This dress, top (#6), and sweater (#11) are all great options in a fiery red color.

Don’t be scared of this trend. For me, bright colors can be a little intimidating. I like to pair bright red with more muted items, such as jeans or black skinnies. I can’t wait to see how this trend plays out this winter!
