Happy December y’all. My all-time favorite month is finally here! I can’t wait for fires in the fireplace, continued marathons of Hallmark Christmas movies, and hot cocoa on the daily! I’ve finished almost all of my shopping, but I have a couple of gifts left to buy. I wanted to share a great gift idea with you today: JORD watches.

To start, I needed to pick out a watch that would fit my style/aesthetic. I chose the “Cassia” in Zebra & Ivory. You can see my watch details here! If I could describe this exact watch in one word, it would be classic. My watch goes with everything!

THREE reasons I love JORD watches:

{ONE} You can personalize them any way you want

As you can see in the below photo, I chose to have a quote engraved on the back of my watch. I wanted something that really spoke to me on a daily basis. It’s actually the quote that motivated me to start a blog in the first place: “Act like a lady, think like a boss.” In today’s world, I think there’s a stigma about certain jobs women can have. Over half of my graduating pharmacy school class was women. We are powerful, and we need to shine in the work place. This watch gives me confidence to wake up each day and give it my all.

{TWO} The watches are high-quality

I was impressed by the overall feel and look of the watch when it arrived on my doorstep. The included wood box that the watch is housed in is a nice touch. I keep my watch stored in this box so it won’t get dirty and dusty.

{THREE} Customer service is top-notch

From the very beginning, the customer service team was available to answer any and all questions I had. From sizing to colors, JORD is really helpful to customers. Their website is easy-to-use and they have made it simple to find what you are looking for quickly. PS did I mention FREE shipping worldwide?!

To celebrate the holiday season, JORD is giving Rebekah Elizabeth readers 25% off! Please visit this link to get your personalized coupon code emailed to you ;) You can also simply slick on the below photo to be taken directly to the link.

Happy Monday. AND BLAH! Why is it always Monday? I think today is harder than usual because it’s a holiday week! I hope you have fun plans with your friends & family this week. Yesterday I had a pretty long photo shoot with my photographer, and I have lots of great content to share with you! Let’s started with an outfit of the day featuring this gorgeous black bomber jacket:

I got this bomber jacket for a STEAL at $39. It’s still on sale, so go grab it. I absolutely LOVE the ruching on the sleeves. I’m really trying to branch out in my outfits and try things I may not have been initially drawn to. This outfit is one of those.

I even paired it with a silver necklace, and I never wear silver! I’m always a gold girl. However, I think that the long, dangly silver necklace adds a nice touch.

I grabbed this lipstick during the Sephora VIB Rouge sale. It’s a matte lipcolor, and I’ve fallen in love with it. I know I wanted something darker for fall, and this color fits the bill. I have a couple of pointers for darker matte lipstick (if you’re like me and don’t wear it often). First, apply a layer of your favorite chapstick underneath so your lips won’t feel as dry. Second, ONLY apply a thin layer of this lip color, because it can get way too dark way too fast ;)

SALE Alert: These booties are 33% off & under $100 AND my clutch is 20% off!

I turned out really liking this monochrome outfit. I always find myself leaning towards bright colors, but a little black & white can be fun too! Find all of my outfit/style posts here.

Happy Thursday! Who’s ready for the weekend? It’s going to turn cold here (again), so I’m preparing with all of my scarves and boots ;) I don’t know if you’ve been paying attention to trends, but velvet is everywhere! It’s definitely having a moment right now. I’m going to be honest though, I’m not willing to spend an arm and a leg on a trend like this one. I do like it, but it’s not something that I’m going to want to wear for years. Do you know what I mean? That’s why I’ve curated a list of affordable velvet items from Old Navy. Everything is under $50!

Wait…leopard AND velvet? These velvet booties (#11) are in my cart as we speak. I LOVE leopard and we all know this. I think they will add the perfect touch to an otherwise boring outfit!

How to wear: black skinnies + turtleneck

I ordered the velvet tank (#3) in pink and black. I have a couple of holiday parties lined up, and I think this is a versatile top. You can be on trend easily for way under $50. I think pairing the tank with a pencil skirt and blazer will be great for work as well.

How to wear: black pencil skirt + blazer

These pine green velvet pants (#1) are coming to the blog next week. I think styling them with black & white stripes is genius. I really like the ankle length!

How to wear:  black + white tee
