The Red Shoe Incident

Happy Memorial Day Weekend everyone. I want to take a second to truly say thank you to all of the troops who constantly help us maintain our freedom here in this great country. To the ones who have lost their lives, we will take this time to step back & remember. Thank you for serving, thank you for being there.

As you can see, today’s post is about a “Red Shoe Incident” I had about 3 years ago. I know that a lot of us see things on TV we want…but this was different. These pair of red shoes I HAD TO HAVE. There’s something about a red shoe. It’s bright, vibrant, and totally takes an outfit to another level. The good part? They were perfect for work or school (you know, the closed toe/no heel type). Now, how in the world would I find them? I went from store to store looking for them. They were nowhere to be found. I honestly gave up on them and tried to get a different red shoe. Nothing was ever the same!

Then one day I just happen to google “red shoe commercial” and it sent me to a Simponi ad on YouTube. (Simponi is a medication used to treat a type of arthritis).

Anyways, to my surprise THIS was the shoe! THIS was the shoe that they were shopping for in the commercial:

Then, to even more of my surprise many more people were wondering what shoe this was & they got the answer! It was the Genie by Vaneli. So the very next month I was in Dallas, I headed straight for the Marmi store in Northpark and snatched them up. THE SHOES. THE RED SHOES.

I tell you this because me & my grandma talk about this “red shoe incident” all the time. It may not sound like a big deal. But it’s one of those things…when you know, you know. So don’t let it happen to you! ;)

Another great thing is that these shoes are totally ONLY $30 (73% off) on 6pm.com & can be yours! Click here if you would like to purchase! They are SO comfy!

Do you have any “red shoe incidents” that you’re still on the lookout for?
