Two Steps to Better Skin Tonight

Hi everyone. I hope you enjoyed the weekend. I’m pretty sure yesterday was Friday and it only seems like Saturday, but I will just pretend :) This weekend I decided to play with some makeup that I had been wanting to try & I realized that my face had gotten super dry. I needed to get rid of the dead skin layer and get more moisture on my face so my makeup will lay right. I wanted to share two great products that I LOVE to use when this very thing happens. I will give you details how I apply them & why I love them.

clinique, eye cream, clinique eye cream, julep, julep sleeping mask, voluspa candle, voluspa, voluspa suede blanc

I am THAT girl who still uses Clinique y’all. I have been using the 3-step since jr. high & I still love it. I will never switch, because when I faithfully use it, my skin looks fresh and healthy. With that being said, I’m picky about skincare & what I will use on my face. While I would LOVE to use cheap products from Wal-Mart, I have found that I tend to break out from certain products. I have a type of “allergy” where my skin breaks out SUPER easy. I have to be careful when trying new products, so that is why I have stuck with Clinique all of these years.

{this suede blanc candle is to die for}

Step 1: After washing your face, apply a nice thick layer of this Julep Sleeping Mask. This may feel like a lot of product on your face, but it will soak in as you sleep and not just wash off onto your pillowcase.

Step 2: After the mask has dried, apply a layer of Clinique Repairwear Laser Focus eye cream. I apply this under my eyes, all over my eyelids, as well as around the outer corners of my eyes. Let dry. (note: get the smallest jar of this, because it will last forever!)

SLEEP TIGHT.

*next morning*

Wash off the sleeping mask & eye cream followed by washing your face with your normal regimen & moisturize.

I promise if you do this nightly for 3-5 days, you will see an insane difference in both how you skin looks & how your skin feels. This will take care of the dead layer of skin and start to moisturize deep down. The sun totally takes a toll on the skin, especially the face, so be sure you are using a foundation with sunscreen DAILY. (that’s the pharmacist coming out in me!)

So, I want to know: what are your favorite skincare products for moisture & hydration? Let me know below!

Thanks always for reading,
