Travel Thursday: Rogers, Arkansas

It’s Thursday and I am SO ready for the weekend. Who’s with me? I thought I would share another Travel Thursday post today about my adventure last weekend. I packed up and headed to Rogers, Arkansas for some much needed R&R (and a tan). I booked a hotel strictly on the fact that it had an outdoor pool.

I knew I wanted to relax a lot while in NWA, so I chose to head to the beauty bar. I had heard rave reviews on Crown Beauty Bar in Fayetteville, so on the way to Rogers I knew I had to stop.

While at Crown, I had a mani/pedi and got my eyebrows tinted. Y’ALL. The pedicure was the best hour of my life. Karen did an amazing job! I got to lay down and be covered up with super comfy blankets while she worked away on my feet. I even fell asleep! She also did a great job on my shellac mani. She invited me back for a makeup session, and I can’t wait to share that with you later on! For the eyebrow tint, I highly recommend Mady. I had never had my brows tinted, but I knew it was time. They look so good now!

After the beauty bar, I grabbed a quick dinner and headed to the hotel to check in and swim! I chose to stay at the Aloft hotel. I have stayed here before and also at other Aloft hotels in Texas. I really like this hotel for people my age. It’s modern and fun.

Why I chose Aloft:
*close to shopping at Pinnacle Hills Promenade
*close to restaurants (hello Bonefish!)
*outdoor pool with super comfy loungers
*Starwood points!

After I got my swim on, I headed out to dinner. Here’s the outfit I chose:

ootd, floral, style, fashion, old navy, old navy style

On the way back to the hotel after dinner, I saw one of the most beautiful sunsets I’ve ever seen.

rogers, arkansas, sunset, crosses, lake, clouds, weather

I really enjoy sunset pictures, because they remind me that God is in control and he’s always present.

All in all, my pool trip was successful. Be sure to check out this post for my must-have pool essentials & sunscreen tips ;) I’m so thankful for this relaxing weekend, and I hoped you enjoyed reading!

XO,
