The Life Edit No. 1

It’s FRIDAY…finally! I’m so thankful for a weekend. I have to work tomorrow but only for 4 hours. I plan on writing all of next week’s blog posts this weekend! I also am shooting some more outfit looks for you, so stay tuned ;) I wanted to share a weekly post where I recap what’s going on in my life, what I’m up to, what I’m loving, etc. I’ve decided to entitle it, “The Life Edit”. I want to eventually send out a newsletter but for now, I will be writing this weekly post! Let’s get started.

What I blogged this week:

life edit, cobblestone project, blush sweater, st louis eats, blush pink

Monday: Give Back with the Cobblestone Project

I introduced the Cobblestone Project of NW Arkansas. Be sure to read the post to find out how you can get involved and help those less fortunate.

Tuesday: St. Louis Eats

I shared three restaurants in St. Louis: scape, Cielo, and Broadway Oyster Bar. I included pictures that make my mouth water just thinking about it.

Wednesday: Blush Sweater + Floral Crossbody #ootd

The first of many outfit posts, I shared a blush pink sweater that will transition perfectly into fall. The floral crossbody I wore is under $70!

Thursday: Color Crush Blush Pink

I’m all about blush pink this fall, and I shared twenty items in this color that are great to add to your closet.

Where I’m going:

Next weekend I’m headed to Dallas to watch my beloved Cowboys play football. Last Sunday’s game was rough, but I’m looking for them to bounce back. I’m a HUGE Dallas Cowboys fan. I even had a dream that I met Dak Prescott! #iwish

Here are a few pictures from last year’s visit with my dad:

I’m planning on making a trip to Reunion Tower and the Arboretum while I’m there. I am also getting a blowout at the Drybar, so I will have to do some shopping at Northpark. I’m taking my grandpa along on this trip and the poor guy has no clue how much I love to shop! LOL

What I’m looking forward to:

FALL DECOR. LEAVES. COOL NIGHTS.

I live for fall. It’s the best thing EVER. I love to cuddle up in blankets by the fire at night. I finally found the studded pumpkins at Target that I’ve been looking for! They come in white & black. They sell out super fast, so be sure to grab them soon.

Fall TV comes back next week! I’m so excited to see several of my favorite shows coming back. NCIS is hands down my favorite show of all time. I’ve been watching since the beginning, and I cannot believe that we start season 15 this year! I’m also excited for the Big Bang Theory and Will & Grace. Can y’all believe Will & Grace is coming back after all those years?

What I’m loving:

I’m really into fall dresses with booties right now. I will be sharing two different outfits with you on the blog, but I thought I would give you a heads up that Old Navy has some great fall dresses. I have this one & this one. They’re both under $50, so they won’t break the bank. I like the way knee-length dresses look with booties. Thankfully, I grabbed both a brown and black pair of booties from Nordstrom. I highly recommend this pair & this pair! They literally go with everything!

Shop Dresses + Booties:

Where I’m shopping this weekend:

{Tory Burch}: It’s my fave sale at Tory right now. My black tote is included, and it’s 20% off! Use code “FALL” for the discount ;) This tote is perfect for work, because it holds its shape well! The leather doesn’t bulge when you have heavy items in the bag. Throw your laptop, planner, and other essentials in here and you’re good to go.

What I’m watching:

Real Housewives of Dallas is making my life. If y’all don’t watch this show, you have to tune in. These girls take drama to a whole other level. My faves are Stephanie & Brandi though, because they’re actually down-to-earth. I like that they bring real life issues (family and friendships) to the show, because those are things in which we can all relate.

Flipping Out is a fun show to watch if you want to laugh a lot. He can come off as arrogant, but I really like Jeff Lewis. His home design/decor is impeccable, and I could only dream of him designing my own house. This show follows him in his at-home design business. Trust me, you’ll laugh…A LOT.

I think that’s about it for this week’s life edit. If there are things you want me to cover in posts like this, let me know! Have a great weekend y’all!

XO,

Rebekah
