Where to Eat in Little Rock, Arkansas: Petit & Keet
I was in Little Rock for a work meeting last week, so I had my dad drive over and meet me for dinner. We decided to try Petit & Keet for the first time.
When I eat dinner with my dad and his wife, Jenny, we usually split an appetizer. We decided on the Baked Goat Cheese. There’s not much I like better than cheese. All kinds, any form. It was SO good. The base was a baked goat cheese mousse and on top was a basil pesto, roasted garlic, and tomatoes. It was served with bread for spreading/dipping. Roasted garlic + cheese might be one of my favorite combos in the entire world. So much flavor and so smooth.
Since I’ve been on my health journey for several months now, I eat slower and definitely not as much as before. I ate a couple of bites of the appetizer to save some room for my main entree.
For my main entree, I ordered the Steak au Poivre. It had so much flavor! It came with glazed carrots & green beans. I’m obsessed with carrots so much, they were amazing. It also came with butter & cream whipped potatoes. The steak featured a brandy peppercorn sauce, which was the highlight of the dish. I wasn’t able to eat all of it, but I highly recommend this dish.
I also wanted to add that I ordered the Parker House rolls. They were served with lavender honey butter, and it melted so nicely onto the warm bread. My grandma, Gee, used to bake Parker House rolls all the time, so it was fun to get something that reminded me of her.
Next time you’re in Little Rock, be sure to check out Petit & Keet. I would recommend getting a reservation, you can do that here!
