Where To Stay in Fayetteville, Arkansas: Freckled Hen Cottage

If you find yourself in Fayetteville, Arkansas for a football game or visiting someone at U of A, be sure to stay at the Freckled Hen Cottage.

Let’s just go ahead and call this stay what it was: my effort to have my very own “The Holiday” moment. (without Jude Law, of course!) This cottage was the perfect mix of “right in town near everything” and “a peaceful, quiet retreat”.

From the second I stepped inside, I immediately felt like I was at home. This cottage had everything you could need for a solo stay, or even a weekend with friends. The fully equipped kitchen leads you to the living room, which was cozy and made for game nights. Right off the living room was the first of two bedrooms with a comfy queen bed! Off the other side of the kitchen is a beautiful sunroom that is perfect to enjoy morning coffee. The other bedroom with a comfy double bed rounds out the cottage with the bathroom right in between the two bedrooms. Did I mention there’s a clawfoot tub? It was perfect!

The English countryside decor and design was so inviting and welcoming. The entire cottage design flowed together so well. The colors were warm, yet relaxing. The cottage was squeaky clean as well.

TIP: If you order DoorDash, be sure to let them know that you’re in the cottage just behind the Freckled Hen Store. Be sure to visit the store during the day for all of the gifts and home furnishings of your dreams.

I highly recommend a stay at the Freckled Hen Cottage next time you’re in Fayetteville, Arkansas!
