It’s FINALLY Friday! Has this week been long or what? It seems like I post a lot of outfits with kimonos, and you’re right ;) They are perfect for spring, and they are super easy to throw on and go. Last weekend, I went to TJ Maxx and stocked up on some basic tees & tanks to go under some new printed kimonos I got. I can’t wait to shoot those this weekend. For today though I wanted to share another lace kimono and how I styled it.
My photographer and I are really trying to branch out on the poses. Bear with me, because I feel stupid sometimes. I really like the way these turned out though.
I’m obsessed with everything blush pink, so I knew I had to have this kimono. You can easily pair almost any print with it. The lace detail is feminine and classic, so I think I will wear this for several years.
If you know me, you know I love Birkenstocks. I talked about how my new suede pair was one of my must-have shoes for spring. This white pair comes in a close second. These don’t have the soft foot bed though, which is the only downside. I still can wear them comfortably all day.
I paired this yellow Kendra Scott necklace with a classic pair of Gorjana hoops to give the outfit a little bling. I’m really trying to figure out how to wear more yellow, so if you have any tips or ideas be sure to let me know!

Happy Wednesday y’all. I hope you are all having a great week. We are back on the weather roller coaster here in Arkansas. It goes from 20 to 50 to 70 to snow to rain to sleet. I can’t even keep up at this point. I went and shot four looks for the blog, and it was literally 30 degrees and raining. Let’s pretend that it was summer and the sun was shining ;) I wanted to share the first outfit with you. I chose to wear a flowy kimono and pair it with a pair of pink loafers.
I think I’ve discussed my outfit philosophy before but if not, I’ll explain. I like to have at least one printed item in each outfit. Here, I took the floral tank and added a light, flowy kimono. This is essentially taking two of spring’s biggest trends and putting them in one outfit. Florals are everywhere! Be sure to stock up next time you’re shopping.
Can we please talk about this adorable pink loafers? They are under $50 and surprisingly comfortable! They are great for work or to add a pop of color to any outfit. They fit TTS. Do I need to get the light blue pair now? I think so ;)
Since there’s a lot going on in this outfit, I went with a pretty neutral clutch. This monogrammed one is one of my favorites. It goes with EVERYTHING!

Happy (rainy) Thursday…I couldn’t be happier. Maybe it’s due to my recent Spring cleaning, but I’ve decided to really assess my accessories and widdle down to classic items that I can wear season after season. It seems that it’s so easy to collect a bunch of accessories that you never really wear. I’ve really been getting rid of my stuff I never use. It’s such a relief! I recently went to Dallas, and I visited the Tory Burch store at Northpark. I had been wanting a pair of espadrilles, and I thought I would share with you some spring accessories in olive + white.
Color scheme I’m loving:
olive + white
As you can see from the photos, I picked three accessories that look great alone but also together. Granted I probably wouldn’t wear them all together, but I like the cohesiveness. These olive green espadrilles would look amaze with white pants! They are super comfy and great for work.
I had been wanting a white clutch, because I didn’t have one. I had my eye on one, but it had sold out. I hung around in the Tory Burch store for a while and finally decided on this one. The pockets are perfect and it’ll be great for travel. It’s part of the “Block T” collection that I love.
I have a love-hate with earrings. I talk on the phone so much at work that I can barely even wear a pair without getting completely annoyed ;) This is why I usually stick to studs for work. I have a different pair of Tory studs that I have worn out, so I thought it was time to add a pair to my collection.
I really like shopping Tory Burch, because her items are classic and timeless.
