Where to Stay in Brattleboro, Vermont: Inn on Putney Road

After my trip to the coast, I headed to stay two nights in Brattleboro, Vermont. Brattleboro is located in southern Vermont, and it’s within driving distance of so many cute little towns. I wanted the quintessential Vermont experience, so I chose to stay in a historic inn.

This inn was built in 1929 and has only 6 cozy rooms. I stayed in the Mountainview Room on the second level of the main house. You can see Mount Wantastiquet just across the river. I kept the window open to get some fresh mountain air!

The bathroom even had a bathtub, and if you know me at all…you know I was ecstatic to see that! The tile was so cute, and they had all of the items you would ever need!

I met Paul who was the owner, chef, and innkeeper. He was super friendly and cooked an amazing breakfast! It was such a great addition that he used fresh, Vermont ingredients. Everything I tried was super yummy.

Here are photos of the two mornings I had breakfast. The chia yogurt had Vermont apples in it. YUM! And can we talk about the quiche?! It had squash, corn, and goat cheese! ALSO YUM!

The inn had so many cute areas to sit and read or (more likely for me) to scroll through IG. I especially loved the chess table room with comfy leather chairs.

Hands down, staying at the Inn on Putney Road turned out to be such a great experience. From the hospitality to the cozy inn vibes, it was just what I wanted to experience in Brattleboro.

XO,

Rebekah
