It’s Monday! Where in the world did the weekend go? And can we talk about this weather? Here in Arkansas, it’s 40 one day then 70 then 50. You can’t dress for this weather, because it’s cold in the morning but hot in the afternoon. I refuse to let it get to me though, because I’m all about the fall clothes ;) Today I wanted to share my September Sephora PLAY box with you…

HELLO bright pink silky bag. This immediately put a smile on my face when I opened it. Sephora continues to surprise me with great, high quality samples in every box.

I was excited to see a mini version of the Benefit Gimme Brow. I use this product on the daily. It helps get rid of that “just woke up” morning brow look!

I’m in a love-hate relationship with eyeliner right now. I haven’t found anything that I LOVE, so I’m going to try this Sephora Eye Pencil. I need something that stays on all day and doesn’t smear. I will keep you updated.

Since fall has arrived with a bang, I hope I can get some more sleep since it gets darker quicker. This Algenist night pressed serum is going on my nightstand and I’m going to try it for 10 days.

Urban Decay must’ve read my mind, because I’m looking for a fall lip color. This liquid lipstick is a pretty brown/red/maroon if that makes sense. Hopefully you’ll see it make an appearance in an outfit post soon.

To keep your skin hydrated this fall, I recommend this belief Aqua Bomb gel cream. Its extensive hydration is just what the doctor ordered.

Shoutout to bumble & bumble for this shampoo and conditioner duo. I always take these packets on trips with me, because they are easy to pack and don’t take up much room.

Most versatile product: Gimme Brow (primer/definer/color in one)

Product I’m most excited about: Algenist Night Pressed Serum

It’s Monday! Where in the world did the weekend go? I had the weekend off, because I was supposed to go to Houston for Coldplay. Unfortunately I didn’t get to go because of Hurricane Harvey. The concert was postponed, so I can’t wait to hear when the new date will be. My thoughts & prayers are with all of those affected by the storm. On a lighter note, I wanted to share the contents of my Sephora PLAY box from August. Here we go…

sephora play, sephora, subscription box, august, august box, monthly box, makeup, skincare, hair, perfume

NERD ALERT ;) This box brought back a flood of memories when I opened it. I was such a nerd in college, so this month’s bag really made me laugh. Since I’m no longer an organic chemistry geek (in school), I might as well be a makeup geek. #noshame

I can’t wait to try this Caviar volumizing mist. Since I have fine hair, I would love to pump up the volume. I’ve found that my hair holds curl better when it hasn’t been washed as often, but that tends to leave it flat. I’ve heard good things about this brand, so I’ll keep you updated!

I’m excited about this Burberry perfume this month. It’s got some major rose notes in it, so you know I’ll like it. I’m going to give this floral scent a try, because I usually stick to oriental scents.

Clinique is my ride-or-die brand. It was my first makeup brand I ever tried, and it reminds me of shopping with my mom. This high impact mascara will be perfect for travel!

This beautyblender micro mini is genius for the under eye area. I will use it to apply my favorite under eye concealer in the morning.

I have been wanting to try more from the Hourglass brand, so this foundation stick is awesome. And since I haven’t been able to get much sun, this color (vanilla) matches me well. Just throw on a little bit of bronzer if it’s too light. I tried it tonight, and it’s full coverage but not heavy. That’s a win-win in my book.

I started using this Korres serum last night to help me continue to get rid of my dark spots. I’ve been doing dermaplane, and it’s helping. However, I needed a serum for nighttime, so I’ve added this one to my rotation.

Most versatile product: Hourglass Foundation Stick (primer/concealer/foundation in one)

Product I’m most excited about: Caviar volume mist

Finally it’s Wednesday! I’m so glad to have a day off tomorrow. I’m sleeping in then getting a massage! I can’t wait! I feel like summer is winding down, but I think I’m just dreaming. I’m specifically dreaming about fall, football, and sitting in front of the fire. But while it’s still summer, I’m continuing to try out beauty products made for this heat. Today I thought I would share what I got in my Sephora Play Box for July.

As you will see, every Sephora Play Box has a drawstring bag with the products inside. This month’s theme was “Glamp Out” and trust me…you won’t find me camping but I don’t mind a good glamping weekend ;) I wrote a post about why I love the Sephora Play Box, so be sure to check it out if you want to know more. Here’s what I got in this month’s box:

This box made me smile for sure. These summer must-haves will transition us right into fall. I don’t know about you, but I’m going to need an entire skin overhaul once we get into September. I have been taking better care of my face when it comes to sun though, so hopefully that will have helped.

Hands down I’m most excited about this Perricone MD moisturizer. I have tried a couple of other products from this brand, and I’m really excited about this moisturizer. PS it smells like roses!

Everyone loves the Viktor & Rolf flowerbomb perfume, so I’m sure this new fragrance will be a big hit. I’m not much about floral scents, so I will give this sample to a friend ;)

As busy as I am, my nightly routine has taken a back seat. I really need to be better about my hair masks, so this one from Madam CJ Walker is exciting! I will report back about how it works for my fine hair.

My Clinique lip balm melted in my car, so thankfully I have this travel size to take with me. The pink is the perfect color for everyone!

I have had this IT Cosmetics mascara for a couple of years now. I’m glad to have a travel size for my makeup bag, because I’m taking three different trips in August. I have long lashes but they are super straight. I like this mascara, because it adds plenty of volume.

I’m equally as excited about this REN rescue face mask. This 10-minute mask is formulated with white mushroom. I tried this last night, and it definitely helped my redness go down and made my face super soft.

Most versatile product: Clinique Balm (use on lips or cheeks), only $17!

Favorite product: Perricone MD Moisturizer & REN Rescue Mask
