Happy Monday! I hope everyone had a great weekend. I had to work half of Saturday, but I think I got a lot accomplished in the afternoon. I’ve got my posts written for this week, so that’s always exciting. Thank you all for your feedback on my outfit post! Stay tuned for this week’s look on Wednesday. Today I wanted to share my favorite beauty/skincare products that you can get at the drugstore. These WAY outperform their more expensive counterpart, so let’s get started!

PSSSST dry shampoo // Maybelline “The Falsies” Push-up Mascara // L’Oreal Pure Clay Mask // Garnier Micellar Water // Neutrogena Hydro Boost Exfoliating Cleanser

Dry Shampoo: Having written about this before, I’m here to tell you (again) that you have to try this PSSSST dry shampoo. I love it for several reasons…it’s cheap, it smells great, and it works! Honestly, I go through probably two cans per month. Should I be embarrassed? Maybe. But I’m totally not! This doesn’t leave a white residue and has the most yummy coconut lime smell. It honestly transports me to the beach every single time I use it. (PS: My everyday scrunchy curls hair tutorial is here)

Mascara: I have a very specific lash problem. My lashes are super long but they are super straight. I find this kind of weird, because I have naturally curly hair. That being said, I found this Maybelline mascara and it works wonders. I apply a coat at the beginning of putting my makeup on, then apply another coat at the end. I definitely recommend this mascara if you need a curling effect. It adds volume as well!

Mask: This clay mask is very affordable, and that’s the number 1 reason I like it. It compares very similarly to a high priced department store version. It has a cooling effect that really feels good on the face, especially after getting home from a long day at work. L’Oreal has perfected its mask game with this product.

Makeup Remover: I give this Garnier micellar water 11 stars out of 10. It is the ONLY product that I’ve ever used that gets ALL of my makeup off without scrubbing my face raw. It is gentle, oil-free, alcohol free, and fragrance free. And for all of my low maintenance babes, you don’t have to rinse! WHAT A WIN.

Cleanser: Formulated without parabens, this Neutrogena exfoliating cleanser provides major hydration to even the driest skin. I love that it’s gentle enough to use everyday and it provides just enough exfoliation! The hyaluronic acid helps plump your skin.

Happy Monday! I’m trying to keep the positive vibes going today, because I’m totally wishing I was still in bed. Anyways I hope everyone had a great weekend. Today I wanted to share a product that you probably never knew you needed: a hair scrub. Keep in mind that this post is in no way sponsored, I just found a product that worked well for me. L’oreal has perfected my hair washing game with its EverFresh Micro-Exfoliating hair scrub that you can find at your local drugstore.

You know I’m a dry shampoo addict. Two or three days in, the buildup on my scalp is pretty disgusting. I know that it’s much better for my hair not to wash it every day, so dry shampoo really helps get me through the week. I decided I needed a product to use when I did shampoo to help get the buildup out of my hair and off my scalp.

It was almost too good to be true, because I discovered this L’oreal EverFresh Micro-Exfoliating hair scrub. This stuff is worthy of all of the “hands raised” emojis. Do you remember that apricot face scrub that everyone used to use? Well it was always way too harsh for the delicate skin on my face. The very thing that made that scrub too harsh for my skin is the exact thing that makes this product effective for your hair/scalp. This scrub has to be able to dig deep enough to get rid of all of the buildup.

How to use:
*Wet hair and apply an amount of scrub sufficient for your hair (I use a quarter size amount for my hair)
*Throw your hair up in a clip & let it sit for around 3 minutes then slowly work into your scalp using a gentle, circular motion
*Run through the entire length of your hair
*RINSE THOROUGHLY
*Shampoo & condition as usual
(use scrub up to twice weekly)

Reasons to love this product:
*Sulfate free
*Safe for color-treated hair
*Smells amazing
*It actually works!

This product has the keen ability to remove buildup from your hair while not stripping all of its moisture. The best news of all? This product is under $10 and can be found at the drugstore. I call that a win-win!
